Palate: Very rich & creamy sherry palate with stewed plums & raisins followed by some chocolate notes, then pepper.

Finish: Long and rewarding, with the stewed fruits, the spice tailing off slowly.

Comment: Just beautiful!

Palate: Wine right up front, with vanilla & honey close at hand, and the underlying Ardbeg salt/smoke/peat trademark

Finish: Long and spicy!

Comment: Not out of this world (as it may suggest) but a really great bottling

Comment: Wish they had bottled at 46-48%

Port Charlotte PC10 10yr 59.8%

Islay

Nose: Peat smoke, citrus, malted barley, nutty oak sweetness

Palate: Big peat hit powering right into the oak and barley, then the malt sweetness kicks in. Smooth and oily.

Finish: Long, like the smoldering fire keeping you warm till the last ember fades
