Glenmorangie 25yr 43% Northern Highlands


Nose: Fruity & honeyed, tea biscuits, plum jelly, subtle notes of chocolate and coffee.


Palate: Full-bodied with huge spice notes, very buttery & sweet


Finish: Long and warming with lingering spice and sweet notes.











Glen Ord 25yr 58.3% Northern Highlands


Nose: Old church pews, molasses, honeycomb and fruit, bit of apple pie spice.


Palate: Smooth & a bit chewy, pepper, fresh oak, stewed apple, heather, light smoke, spice.


Finish: Medium-long and rewarding with oak tannins, dark chocolate, and spice


Comment: These were some great casks! Well done Glen Ord.







Highland Park 25yr 45.7% Orkney


Nose: Vanilla, honey, chocolate, hint of smoke


Palate: Vanilla, oak, hint of smoke and peat


Finish: Long and lingering with a hint of smoke and vanilla.


Comment: Perfection!










Knockando 25yr 2011 Special Release 43% Speyside


Nose: Rich & fruity with prunes, raisins, and candied orange peel.


Palate: Creamy with nutmeg, aged sherry, and stewed fruits, slightly drying.


Finish: Medium long with orange zest and late earthy notes.











Talisker 25yr 2011 45.8% Skye


Nose: Very coastal & briney with sweetness and a distant hint of smoke.


Palate: Medium-bodied , sweet, peppery heat, well balanced by acidity and saltiness.


Finish: Long & warming, spicy, drying.












Laphroaig 25yr 50.9% Islay


Nose: Sea spray, briny, and vanilla. Later notes of honey, malt, and slight iodine.


Palate: Buttery and smooth, sweet smoke, orange peel, sea air, a bit of tar & peat.


Finish: Long and spicy with cinnamon, ripe summer fruit, and late smoke.


Comment: Wonderful example of a perfectly aged Laphroaig.

Nose: Light & fruity


Palate: Malty, caramel, light spice


Finish: Short with slight sweetness














Almanac Beer Co. "Saison Delores" 8.4% CA


Nose: Light malt, citrus


Palate: Fruity with light hops and a bit yeasty


Finish: Short with lingering yeast and hops













Lagunitas "Equinox" Pale Oak Ale 8.4% CA


Nose: Fresh hops, slightly bitter, orange peel


Palate: Cedar, spruce, and hoppy


Finish: Medium with citrus notes

















Stone "24 Carrot Golden Ale" 8.5% CA


Nose: Orange & vanilla


Palate: Light orange notes and a bit yeasty


Finish: Medium with a malty note
