Lismore 21yr 43% abv

Speyside


Nose: Light smoke and slightly sweet, dry sherry, leather, and late vanilla


Palate: Toasted oats, maple syrup, spice


Finish: Medium finish with some lingering spice










Highland Park 2012 21yr 47.5% abv

Orkney


Nose: Orange peel, oak, and spice. A light smokey sweetness


Palate: Spicy, light chocolate, peat smoke, oak, stewed fruit


Finish: Long with some spice, light citrus, chocolate


Comment: Very nice. Much improved over the previous lightweight bottling





Glendronach Parliament 1990 21 yr 48% abv

Speyside


Nose: Big sherry nose with dried fruit, honey, and chocolate


Palate: Sweet, dark chocolate, coffee, spice


Finish: Medium long, sweet, light spice, with late chocolate notes


Comment: A sherry monster










Rosebank Special Release 2011 21yr 53.8% abv

Speyside


Nose: Vert floral, rose petals, lavender, light oak


Palate: Light heather notes with oak, light spice, toffee, apples


Finish: Medium long with the floral and oak notes lingering


Comment: Beautifully balanced










Laphroaig 1989 Old & Rare 21yr 55.8% abv

Islay


Nose: Dark cocoa, leathery, dried fruit, peat, briny


Palate: Dry with peat and somewhat nutty up front, citrus and spice following along nicely with some late stewed fruits with a spicy edge


Finish: Long, dry, and briny, late warming spice


Comment: Not your typical Laphroaig






Cragganmore 21yr 56% abv

Speyside


Nose: Strong oak notes with light bourbon, fresh fruits, vanilla, malty


Palate: Fresh and fruity (apples & Pears) with citrus, oak tannins, late malt


Finish: Long, fruity, spice, bit herbal

Chatoe Rogue “First Growth” Single Malt Ale

8% abv Oregon


Nose: Green hops, light malt


Palate: Creamy with some light maltiness


Finish: none


Comment: The single alt leaves you wanting a little more complexity.







Uinta Crooked Line “Sea Legs” Baltic Porter 8% abv Utah


Nose: Nice full roasted malt


Palate: Chocolate, sweet roasted malt, light bourbon


Finish: Short


Comment: Again a wonderful brew from Uinta









Great Divide “Wolfgang” Doppleback Lager
8% abv Colorado


Nose:  Light malt


Palate: Malty and sweet with some light hops


Finish: Short
