Caol Ila Unpeatd 10yr 65.8%
Islay

I didn’t trust my notes here as it was late in the game so here we go again...

Nose: Citrus, vanilla, fresh oak, peat, little smoke, and a bit of spice. Some dark sherry there too

Palate: Peppery, spice, leather, some smoke and a peak-a-boo peat hit. Herbal, grassy.

Finish: Medium finish, spicy, warming, a bit dry. Just a little chewy too!

Caol Ila - you really can’t get rid of the peat.
